Our family has a photograph which is believed to be of George Wilson and Sarah Eagle, who wed 14 Nov 1841. George died on 24 April 1862.
Maria Taylor 11 Dec 1850 - 7 July 1932, was born in Adelaide, South Australia to James Suddy Taylor and Eliza Kerrison, who wed 27 April 1840. The marriage rank of both is 'Free'.
The family has not been able to trace the arrival or antecedents of James Suddy Taylor, who died 16 July 1862 and has a most uninformative death certificate. The use of 'Suddy' as a second name suggests it may be a family surname.

George Wilson 9 Dec 1842 - 29 April 1908, was born in Swaffham, Norfolk, the only child of George Stafford Wilson and Sarah Eagle, wed 4 Oct 1869 to Maria Taylor at Dunolly, Victoria and died at St Arnaud where both he and Maria are buried in the same grave

When Maria died, she had experienced the deaths of five of her children. Her 13 children provided her with 36 grandchildren.

This paragraph hit my eye.
It is after a paragraph
about the annual hospital fete
today, and has no headline.

The next paragraph was about
a Chinaman named Quong Tack
who was sent to gaol for
3 months for being the occupier
of a disorderly house.
On Tuesday morning a painful accident happened to Mr George Wilson at the Dunolly Alluvial Co.'s mine. Mr Wilson, in company with Mr J Taylor, was at work in the shaft when a bolt about 9 inches long fell from the surface and struck Mr Wilson on the head, inflicting a severe scalp wound and rendering him unconscious. the force of the bolt was broken by a plank about 20 feet from the bottom. Dr Cookson was soon in attendance on the injured man who had been removed to the surface, and sewed up the wound. It will be a week or two before Mr Wilson is able to resume work.
