From Geni - Migrated to Australia in 1848 on the Tasman. I believe the ship arrived at Port Phillip 18 Oct 1848. Worked as a farmer for Richard Roadknight for three months at 20 pounds pa plus rations. After marriage apparently lived in Marnockvale. I can't locate this town.
From The Argus, Melb, Friday 20 October 1848, arrived October 18 — Tasman, ship, 564 tons, J. B. Blackburn, commander, from London 5th, and Plymouth 16th June. Passengers—cabin— Mrs Isabella Bently, Mrs Gregory, and Mr John Black ; with 221 immigrants. Dr. John Ayre, Surgeon Superintendent.
From Rootsweb, 2003, "Keziah White aged 27 literate arrived with her husband William White 38 Ag Lab Cof E and literate. They left London June 10 then Plymouth June 28 arriving Pt Henry Geelong Sept 14 1851 on board the Statesman. Keziah 's maiden name was Goodenough and she came from Norton St Philip a market town a few miles Sth of Bath.
William White's death 1851-3 is not recorded (not buried with clergy present who recorded the event.)
