Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for posting the information on Jacob Rowe Trembath on your TREMBATH website.
It was nice to find out what happened to Jacob as the last trace I had of him was in the 1851 census in Cornwall. So often people just "disappear" from Cornwall. I didn't find him here in the USA, so figured possibly Australia, but didn't really know. He was the next older brother of my ancestor Benedict Trembath.

If you could send them to the Moolort Railway Station I would see to their delivery & fixing.' On 5 Mar 1884 he wrote 'The Water closets are getting shakey for want of paint a few boards nailed on & fresh sleepers, the latter are thoroughly ant eaten & require renewing from the neighbouring forest where the timber is much harder than the present sleepers are which came from Bullarook.'

Samuel Trembath 1838 - 24 Jan 1903 wed 18 June 1863 #1125 to Harriet Hobbs 1847 - 1920 and lived at Ballarat Is this the same Samuel? Newspaper report The Argus, Melbourne, Thursday 29 January 1903 Page 7 - and corrected to "An inquest was held on Wednesday touching the death of Samuel Trembath, an elderly man who was found dead on Saturday morning on a vacant allotment in Ballarat West. All the circumstances pointed to death from natural causes, for the post-mortem examination disclosed that Trembath was in a very bad state of health, but the disappearance of a watch, which he was known to have worn when leaving home, aroused suspicion. - All efforts to trace the watch had failed, and the coroner (Mr. W. Dickson, P.M.), in summing up, said that a crime may have been committed, but it was not likely. The jury returned a verdict that death had been caused by heart disease, and added that there was not sufficient evidence to show how death had been directly brought about."

Hello, my name is Jenny and I'm descendent from Samuel Trembath, he married Harriet Hobbs in 1863.
I notice that you have said that their were only 10 children, they had 12.
The two you don't have are Elsie May Trembath born : 1889 Died :1943 aged 53 ( she is my great grand mother)
Ruby Pearl Trembath Born ?? Died 1976 aged 84 I couldn't find a birth record or marriage record - married -Fawcus . I found your web site great with all the information .

Hello, I just found your page on the Trembath’s. Samuel Trembath (married to Harriet Hobbs) is my great-great-great-grandfather (5 generations).
Just thought you might be interested to learn that Martha Trembath (b.1874) died in 1928 after marring William Edwin Reed (b.1876 d.1937). Together they had six children (all male). The only path I have from there is William Edward Reed (b.1907 d.1960) who married Alberta Mary Mitchell (b. 1907 d. 1936).
