Dear Norma
Looking for something else I came across the below in "Old Tallangatta A Town to Remember" by Malcolm Ronan. You may already have it as it is by your sister Olive but just in case.
One point I found on the BDM index that Charles James Trenchard was born in 1902 not 1910.

Family Histories
TRENCHARD
Henry James Trenchard was born in Albury in 1910 to Charles and Alice (Heffernan) Trenchard. He was brought up in Bethanga, losing both parents while still a youngster and raised by an aunt, Irene Hertzog, in Bethanga.
Henry's brother Neville lived in Sydney, and two sisters May (Stewart) and Alice (Macarthur/Croft), after some years farming with their families in Tallangatta Valley, also moved to Sydney.
Henry married Gladys Smyth, formerly of Rand, in Albury in 1936. They lived in Bethanga until moving to Tallangatta in 1942 with four children - Norma, Alison, Ann and Charles. Throughout his life Henry Trenchard was a hardworking man, starting with the Railways when he moved to Tallangatta. During WW2 he ran a truck carrier business around the district, and started a cement-brick making business - many dairies and houses still standing in the area are constructed with Trenchard's bricks. (On moving to the new town, Henry was employed by Towong Shire and retired in 1976.) When the children were of school age, Gladys worked at McKay's Tallangatta Hotel, and then for many years at the Tallangatta Hospital. Three more Trenchard children were born at Tallangatta: Roma, Arthur, and Olive. The family lived at the eastern end of the town backing on to Tallangatta Creek, which was liable to overrun its banks in a flood almost every year.
Three married children Roma Klippel, Arthur Trenchard and Olive Milsom have maintained links with the new town. The others, Norma Burrows and Ann Williams live in Wodonga, Alison Ellwood in Bendigo, and Charles, although still owning houses and land in Tallangatta moved in 1993 to Uranquinty, N.S.W., where he owns and operates the General Store.
[Endorsed by Olive Milsom, Tallangatta.]
