I have Agnes Julia Wheatley as being born on 21 Apr 1861 in Bedford England and her death on 06 May 1953. Her wedding to Z P Sanders took place on 24 Jan 1889, in Norwood South Australia and was performed by Rev G.E. Wheatley. They had three children George Henry, Alfred Wheatley, and Ralph Victor. The latter was killed in action in France and George was my grandfather.

Ive just had a look at your website and I believe that you may have Mary Bate Sanders incorrectly listed as being married to her first cousin John Bate Venning. Mary Bate did in fact marry Alfred Martin on the 23rd Jan 1879 as listed

Edwin Sandy

The Herald of the Morning was a fine ship of 1292 tons register, built at St. John New Brunswick in 1855, and classed Al at Lloyd's for seven years. The ship had been expressly built for trading with the colony of Victoria. Captain Rudolph was the Master and she brought 417 unassisted Immigrants in Nov 1859. The ship caught fire on the 15th of November 1859 and was left to burn at Sandridge. In the year 1889, the remains of the old hulk Herald of the Morning have been partially removed from the end of Donaldson's Jetty, Port Melbourne.
