Hi Elizabeth, Yes it is the same family but I did not know of the other children - so Flora Bertha is child no 10. Thanks for the update. Sorry at present I know nothing more of the Alfred Peacock question. Edward and Flora Bertha are buried at a family grave in Chelteham Melbourne. They passed away only days apart without each other knowing. They lived in Elsternwick Melbourne.
They also had three more children - Ken Keighley, Stella Keighley 1901-1989, & Alan Lindsay Keighley who died in a train accident 1932 aged 20.
Thanks again for a remarkable resource.
Regards, Paul Keighley

Edward Peacock

from Carole Lewis-Cook, on Wed, 30 Jan 2002
John Douglas who was a french polisher who married Hannah Peacock on the 14.6.1862. This was Hannah's first marriage as after John's death she married again on the 7.8.1884 to a Charles Cleary who was from Ireland. They had a son Justin Cleary born 9.3.1885 who of cause married Mary Bushby. Hannah was Charles' second wife so they were both widow and widower. Hannah's parents were Catherine Peed and Edward Peacock both free of Launceston and they were married on the 25.5.1836 in the Parish of Launceston. Unfortunately that is all I have for catherine and Edward other than that their other children's names were Edward (b) 2.3.1837....Hannah (b) 3.8.1842....Martha (b) 18.9.1844....One male,no name (b) 9.12.1846....and Matilda (b) 1849. Edward Peacock was also a Wheelwright.
Lewis and Agnes Bushby who's daughter Mary married Justin Cleary. I am a Great grand daughter of Mary and Justin. One of their children was named Alfred James Cleary (my grandfather) who then married Violet May Luck (my grandmother) My records for Mary Cleary (nee) Bushby only go back as far as a Jane Bushby who I gather is the mother of Lewis Bushby as stated on the birth certificate of Mary. I have no records as yet of Agnes Donaldson and only the Birth and Death certificates for Lewis Bushby.

Edward Peacock, a wheelwright, wed on the 25 May 1836 in the Parish of Launceston to Catherine Peed both free of Launceston, and lived at Launceston, Tas.
