Charles King

Charles Cary King as explained by Dale Goodchild. Many thanks to you for your help.
Charles Cary King 1817 - 5 May 1900 came to Victoria, Australia Port: Port Phillip, Ship: Sea Queen, Year Arrived: 15 Apr 1844 with his future wife Eliza Catherine Jones 1823 - 7 Aug 1863 aged 40
I found in Vic records, Chas King a member of Crew, came Apr 1844 on the Sea Queen, and also in Vic list Book 2/3, page 172, is Eliza Jones, adult. Not in NSW passenger list online for the Sea Queen 1844. This suggests that Eliza Jones came as a paying passenger and not one of the 219 Bounty Immigrannts, and that Charles was one of the three crew whose job was to care for the immigrants and for which he was paid 1/- per Bounty soul who was landed in Melbourne
