Is there a connection with Tamzin Jewell 1823 - 1884 #5621 aged 61 dau of Mary and Thomas Jewell Christening: 09 Feb 1823 at Hatherleigh, Devon, England, died at Murghebohn, came on the Osprey with Christopher Hocking?

From on Thursday, 23 January, 2014
Hi Elizabeth, Edwin Jewell 1839-1881 is a brother to Joseph Jewell, both sons of Johannah Harvey and John Jewell.
Joseph Jewell from Devon who was a member of the crew, and his wife Mary Ann Jewell from Manchester, are survivors of the wreck of the General Grant
Joshua James Jewell died 31 March 1904, age 68, he was a Farmer at Kerang. Son of Thomas and Mary Honeychurch.
The Jos who died in 1898 was my great, great grand-father Joseph Harvey Jewell.
Joseph Harvey Jewell 1837 - 1898 #938 aged 65 died at Bridgewater, son of Thamazin Harvey and John Jewell (from Death Index, incorrect)
Joshua does have a Will online at: http://prov.vic.gov.au/search_results?searchid=54&format=freetext&Family_name=jewell&Given_name=joshua&Alternative_name=&Occupation=&Residence=&Year_of_death=0&Year_of_deathto=0&SearchRecords=25&x=59&y=16
Joseph's parents are correct, he is the brother of of Edwin Jewell 1839-1881.
Hope this is of some help to you. These are Clovelly Jewells and the cousins were in Australia some years ago sharing their information with my cousin Christine (CC) Campbell.
If you want more information, see this: http://wreckofthegeneralgrant.com/ This ship wreck is well documented. Hope this is of some help to you. Cheers, Rhonda Robertson
