In my research on the Hunter family, the 5th generation has SAMUEL HUNTER was the 3rd child of GEORGE HUNTER and Mary Pinkerton, born 1819 in Aughadoey, County Londonderry, Ireland, and died August 19, 1903 in Serpentine, East Loddon Shire, County Bendigo. He wed JANE BAIRD May 4, 1846 in The First Presbyterian Church, Parish, Ballymoney, county of Antrim.
Sister of Samuel, Ann/Annie Hunter was first to go to Australia.
