Hello Elizabeth I have been doing family history for my husbands family and my own for some time. When looking at your site, which I found very informative I noticed errors with some of my family connections.
The Hull and Bason Connection:
The parents of the George Hull b1861 who married Isabella Marshall in 1885 were Edward Hull and Elizabeth Boyle not George Hull and Georgina Bason. Though Edward's parents are noted as being William Hull and Anne McNotley. Maybe Edward and George were brothers.
Yes you are correct Edward Hull wed Elizabeth Boyle c1830 on July 1857-1902 and she was the dau of Mary Short and Robert Boyle chn William b 1859 Emerald Hill Elizabeth b 1860 lived 3weeks and George Edward b 19th Aug 1861 Carlton.
George Edward Hull m Isabella Marshall in 1885 chn were John Ernest b 1886 George Wallace b 1888 Irene Eilzabeth Isabel b1894 Sydney Lovell b1901.
Edward Hull died in NZ in 1862. He drowned when coming ashore in a small boat that overturned when arriving in Dunedin leaving Elizabeth with 2 small children.

William Humphries, my great great grandfather, was born in 1808 in Oxfordshire England died in 1890 buried at Timor Vic. He was Christened 22 Jan 1809 son of Mary and Richard Humphries, at Epwell, Oxford, England, (Richard Humphries wed 1801 to Mary Salmon at Epwell)
Ann Perrin was christened 31 Jan 1821 dau of Ann and John Perrin at Burford, Oxford, John Perrin wed 12 Oct 1806 to Ann Walcraft at Burford, Oxford, England William wed 1847 to Hannah (Anna) Perrin,1819 - 1895 buried Timor Vic. They had three children born in England, Elizabeth 1849, George 1851 and Sarah 1853 which appear to be called Humphries they seem to have migrated around 1953. then 2 born on the Bellerine Peninsula, Edward 1856 Richard 1858 they were called Perrin then moved to Smythesdale in 1862 or 1863 where they had three children Thomas my great grandfather 1862, Robert 1866, Alfred 1869, all Perrins when Hannah (Anna) was 50 yrs old. My great grandfather Thomas Perrin wed Louisa Matilda Helena Barina Gunther from Mosquito- Majorca- Craigie (near Maryborough) in 1887 and their daughter Helena Louisa Barina my grandmother married my grandfather Wilfred Maguire in ballarat in 1916. my great grandfather was - Humphries born 1862 smythesdale he married louisa gunther in maryborough in 1887.
