Hi Elizabeth
I am descended from William Slaughter through his daughter Mary Ann Slaughter who married a William Goodall. Their son, Daniel William Knight Goodall, owned a music shop in Ryrie St Geelong and his son Henry Goodall was my great grandfather.
I am going here by memory, although I do have all the documents and research tucked away in a briefcase somewhere.
Regards, Carolyn Tolley

Hello Elizabeth,
I was just snooping around on the Net for Mountier references, this being one of my family names, and I clicked onto your Bale family page. What a surprise to see the family of William Bale and Ellen Martha Mountier listed. Minnie Victoria Bale, their last child, is my great grandmother. Could you tell me what the # after the birth year means - is it a way of tracking the person listed? Am also interested in pursuing the history of Frederick Mountier Bale's wife, Ida Madeline Goode. Minnie married Fred Goode, my father is the son of their son, Fred. It is possible that they are siblings. Would love to hear back from you.
