Adolphus was at Balranald building the bridge there when he was killed on his 45th birthday, 22 May 1880 and buried at Balranald grave not identified.

Samuel Brookman aged 24, came on the Arthur The Great, of 1389 tons, sailed from Southampton 9 March 1856 and arrived at Geelong 5 June 1856 with 466 Assisted British Immigrants including his wife Eliza Brookman aged 22 and maybe cousin Eliza Brookman aged 20. Samuel appears to have joined his sister-in-law, but we could not read her name
Eliza Ann Brookman, Church of England able to read and write, was employed on 9 June as a cook, by Mrs Candy of Geelong - Fische 090, Assisted Immigrants has the full passenger list including dispersal plans for 'Alfred the Great' passengers.

I saw this on the internet when I did a search for 36 Swinton Street in London.
The other reference to "Henson" that I have is on her death certificate which lists her as "Eliza Henson Brookman", died age 67 on 3rd April 1871 at 36 Swinton Street in London (also Grays Inn Lane, Pancras, Middlesex). She is listed as "wife of Jabez Brookman" on the death certificate as well.

Dear Ms Janson,
My father-in-law is the grandson of Amelia Susan Brookman, one of Eliza Ann Brookman's younger sisters (as you discovered on the IGI). I have a bit of information about the Moyse side of this family, but very little about the Brookmans.
I have the Jabez Brookman birth/bapt information that you also found on the IGI, as well as his death certificate showing his age of 73 years, when he died on 30 Nov 1879 at 37 Regent Street (Grays Inn Lane, Pancras, Middlesex) in London.
I also have a (very poor) photocopy of the parish register of St Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, in the Parish of St Marylebone (Middx) from 1830, showing the marriage between Jabez Brookman and Eliza Moyse on 6th November. Their marriage is also listed in Pallot's Index, for 1830. From census data, it appears that Jabez Brookman was born in Bromley, just outside of London, but I have no further proof of that.

Anyway, regarding the Moyse side of things: I found, also through checking census data, that Jabez's wife Eliza was born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk County.
When I was in England last summer, I went to the Suffolk Records Office, and found her baptismal record, showing her name as "Henston Eliza Moyse", and that she was born 25 Oct 1804 (bapt 13 Nov 1804, St James parish). Her parents were James Moyse and Tabitha Petch. She had a number of siblings, including a "William Hinson Moyse". Unfortunately, I cannot find any further information regarding this "Henston/Hinson/Henson/Hanson" name -- e.g. if it was some sort of family/maiden name -- and none of the other siblings (but William) has it.
The earliest information I could find in Bury St Edmunds was the marriage on 5 March 1795 of James Moyse and Tabitha Petch. I have no idea who their parents were, unfortunately.

Of the Jabez and Eliza Brookman children, I also have death dates if you are interested:

* Amelia Susan Brookman died Sept 29th 1935 in Chippenham, Wiltshire County -- she died Amelia Susan Keenan, having been widowed by her first husband James Clyde Liddle in 1884
* Eleanor Caroline Brookman (b. 1844/45 -- she's also in the IGI, but not listed on your web-site, presumably because the father is incorrectly listed as "James") died a child: May 1st 1846
* Charles Brookman also died an infant on 20th Sept 1850

All of these dates come from a family bible in my father-in-law's possession. There was also another son: James Moyse Brookman (he's also on the IGI, with the father listed incorrectly as "James") who was born Jan 20 1834, bapt 16 Feb 1834 at All Souls as well. He's key, since his middle name is his mother's maiden name. He lived into adulthood and had (at least) three children, who are all listed in the same family bible, and who I've also seen on census data. According to the FreeBMD index, it appears that he died in the first quarter of 1900, age 65, in Hackney, London. Just thought I'd pass the death-date info along, in case you wanted to put that on your web-site.

Regarding Eliza Ann Brookman's mother: I can't help but wonder if the discrepancy regarding her name (i.e. was she Eliza Moyse or Eliza Ann Jacobs) is due to the informant's mistake on Eliza Ann (Brookman) (Droscher) Cousins' death certificate (reg #1192). The Brookman/Droscher marriage record (reg #3309) you referenced on your site clearly states that her mother was Eliza Hanson(sic) Moyes(sic). Also listed on that record is Adolph Droscher's mother, named Elizabeth Jacobson. One can't help but wonder if the informant, perhaps her child or grandchild, mixed up his/her grandmothers' names!
