Sailed March 21, Shooting Star, ship, 1862 tons, John Gillies, for Bombay, in ballast. Bright Brothers and Co agents.

I was interested in your website regarding Curtis and Godfrey families. It was nice to know you.
Horatio Nelson Godfrey and Fanny Jane Curtis were my great great grandparents. I noticed that there were 8 children of theirs. But there were 13 children. They were Fanny, Ernest Charles Leslie, Elsie, Ada Susan and Alice (who were twins) before their father, Horatio died in 1897. Two of their daughers, Ruth and Ada Susan were my great grandparents, and Samuel Curtis and Fanny Jeffery were my great great great grandparents.
