Added 26 May 2010 because I received a page of 5 Birth records for registrations 6th and 7th Nov 1861 at Geelong, and this family was included.

Arthur Christey was an Office Clerk, aged 27, from London who wed 18 June 1854 at the English Church Geelong to Bridget Shannon from Clare, Ireland, in Nov 1861 she was aged 26. Their children were Frances Emma aged 6 and 1/2, and Arthur aged 4. The new baby, Alexander Henry, was born 1 Oct 1861 at Latrobe Terrace, Ashley and his father was not present when he was born. He was Registered 7 Nov 1861.
In 1864 a second daughter was born Eliza Amelia registered 1864 #2566

Your family, the Plants, meet up with mine, the Christians.
Sarah Plant, born in Sibsey Lincolnshire in 1824 married on 15 Dec 1856 to Charles Christian in Creswick.
He was also born in 1824. Charles father was William Christian and mother was Susannah Draper, of Macclesfield in Lincolnshire, England.
He died of Stomach cancer on 20 July 1897 and was buried two days later.
He died at Yellangip near Warracknabeal, Victoria. She died in her daughter Emma’s home at Willenabrina.
They had four children:
