I have the marriage certificate for Isaac Chambers and Selina Ann Hooper. Isaac was from the Isle of Wight, but I have not been able to find a ship for him yet. Selina was born in Cornwall, England and immigrated to Australia in 1847 on the Aboukir to South Australia with her family. They then came to Victoria about 1851.
Isaac Chambers was born in 1833 and his parents were John Chambers and Harriot Smith. I am still searching for an arrival in Australia for him, but he married Selina Ann Hooper on 28 March 1857 in Ballarat, Victoria. They had 11 children and I have a contact with one of the descendants of theirs.
