From on Sunday, 21 June, 2009

I have just come across your web page. I have quite a lot of information on the Booth family of Chiltern - I'm working on the De Mamiel family tree and one of them (Agnes Ciserina De Mamiel (1866-1914) married George Henry Booth (1861-1943). Her father, GLH De Mamiel had 3 wives and 6 children. The first two were born in Victoria, the 3rd in California and the final three in Victoria. GLH De Mamiel and his 1st wife moved to California shortly after the birth of their 2nd child, but the couple divorced in 1871 and George returned to Victoria with his 5-year-old eldest daughter Agnes Ciserina.
George Lucas Hoener De Mamiel (D.6) (c1843-1926) had 6 children - 5 girls and 1 boy. His 1st wife, Easther Robine Gibson (c1847-al.1871) had 3 children - all girls; his 2nd wife, Eliza Dunstan (nee Opie) (c1830-1886) had no children; and his 3rd wife, Emily Filmore Stevens (c1861-al.1899) had 3 children - 2 girls and 1 boy.
