I come from John Charles Blacklock. You show only 2 children I know he had 5.
My line is from the youngest Fred Jas Blacklock, they came to Canada 1905 or 1906.
There is one other set of triplets to the Bent family they would have been aunt and uncles to John Washington Bent. They were born in 1865, 1 girl and 2 boys.

Hi Elizabeth,
My mother (who recently died on 14/2/07 (b. 22.7.1927) was the grand-daughter of John Blaikie & Jane Christina Heighway of Ballarat. She was the only daughter/child of Mavis Jean Blaikie/James Archibald Ferguson. My mother, Joan Frances Ferguson married Lister Edgar Boyd and had 4 children.
This weekend we were sorting through Mum's belongings as a prelude to clearing out the house & found the family bible. It was given to Richard Heighway & Jane Comrie for their 50th wedding anniversary, who in turn gave it to John Blaikie "in recognition of all the help he has given them". My mother had obviously inherited it through her mother.
The interesting thing for us, was that when we found the bible, my mother had continued writing details of births/deaths etc. for the family, however we were unsure as to where Richard & Jane Heighway fitted into the picture. I googled Jane Christina Heighway (who I knew was Mum's grandmother) just to see what would happen & found your fabulous website. Now all the names we have heard over the years "Uncle Lou, Uncle Churt, Auntie Bella" , and familiar surnames of "Ambler, Combrie, Heighway" etc. are detailed for us as that knowledge left with mum.
